Residents are invited to meet with city officials and share their voices as the City of Tamarac hosts a series of Neighborhood District Meetings throughout May.
The four-part initiative is designed to give community members a chance to engage directly with Mayor Michelle J. Gomez, their respective city commissioners, and staff to discuss ongoing projects, city priorities, and future plans.
District 2
The series begins on Wednesday, May 7, with the District 2 Meeting, hosted by Mayor Gomez and District 2 Commissioner Morey Wright. It will take place at the Tamarac Community Center, 8601 E. Commercial Blvd., starting at 6:30 p.m.
District 1
The District 1 Meeting follows on Monday, May 12, led by Mayor Gomez and District 1 Commissioner Marlon D. Bolton. Residents are encouraged to attend the Mainlands 1 & 2 Clubhouse, located at 4301 Mainland Drive, at 6:30 p.m.
District 3
On Wednesday, May 21, Mayor Gomez and District 3 Commissioner Krystal Patterson will host the District 3 Meeting at the Woodmont Country Club, 7801 NW 80th Ave., also beginning at 6:30 p.m.
District 4
The final session in the series will be the District 4 Meeting on Thursday, May 22, co-hosted by Mayor Gomez and Vice Mayor Kicia Daniel. This meeting will be held at the Colony West Golf Club, 6850 NW 88th Ave., starting at 6:30 p.m.
