Treasure Ford Optics marked a significant milestone with a celebratory ribbon-cutting ceremony in Tamarac, commemorating two years of serving the community with high-quality eye care and stylish eyewear.
Located at 4239 W Commercial Blvd, the business welcomed local dignitaries and community leaders, including Tamarac Mayor Michelle J. Gomez, District 1 Commissioner Marlon Bolton, and District 2 Commissioner Morey Wright. They were joined by Tamarac North Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce Chair Rachel Schmidt of the Woodmont Country Club and Executive Director Peter Mason, along with chamber members and guests.
The celebration recognized the achievements of owner Chanel Ford, a licensed optometrist, optician, and frame stylist, who co-owns the business with her partner. Officials praised Ford’s commitment to local entrepreneurship and extended their best wishes as the company continues to grow.

“It’s crucial that we all have a clear vision of the impact small businesses have on our community, and that everyone plays a part in nurturing them,” said Mason, highlighting the importance of supporting locally owned establishments.
Ford emphasized the crucial role of eye care, especially for older adults.
“Seventy percent of the people over 45 will need eyewear—glasses and sunglasses—for UV protection. Our business will cater to all those needs,” she said.
Treasure Ford Optics has earned a reputation for delivering comprehensive eye exams and offering a curated selection of fashionable frames.
