The Tamarac North Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce is collecting food and toys this holiday season to help families in need throughout both communities.

The chamber’s annual holiday drives encourage local businesses, residents, and community organizations to donate nonperishable food items and new toys to help families during the holidays.

The food drive is underway and continues through Nov. 25.

The toy drive will run from Nov. 25 through Dec. 15, collecting new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages.

Donations for both drives can be dropped off at the Chamber Office, Moose Lodge, and Woodmont Country Club.

The Chamber encourages businesses to participate by organizing workplace collections, challenging neighboring businesses to match donations, and sharing information about the drives.

Businesses or individuals interested in making larger donations can also contact the chamber to arrange a pickup.
