Tamarac Reports 55 New Covid-19 Cases in 2 Days

We have continued providing data after our readers have requested it. Since our last update from the Florida Department of Health positive tested Covid-19 cases in Tamarac were 1,565. Since then, that number has increased to 1,620 for an increase of 55 positive tested cases.

On Aug 1 there were 480,028 positive cases in the State of Florida, and on August 3, there are 491,884 total cases, for an increase of 11,856.

There have been 7,157 total deaths reported deaths in the State. This is 135 more since August 1. In Broward County, there have been 748 deaths, which translates to 1 percent of all Broward County cases.

The average age of a resident to contract COVID-19 in Broward County is 40-years-old. These figures were verified on August 3, 2020.
