The City of Tamarac has opened applications for its 2026 Tamarac Scholars Program, providing students with up to $2,500 to support their educational and career goals.
The program is designed to assist students pursuing a variety of paths, including enrollment in two-year colleges, four-year universities, and trade schools.
To be eligible, applicants must be residents of Tamarac and may apply only once per household. Previous recipients of the Tamarac Scholars Program are not eligible to apply.
Applicants are required to complete an online application and submit documentation verifying enrollment in an educational institution, along with proof of residency.

According to the city, the scholarship program will remain open until Social Services reaches its limit for eligible applications.Â
