Pet lovers and their four-legged companions are invited to mark their calendars for the Furever Friends Pet Expo 2026, returning to Tamarac with a full morning of pet-friendly activities, vendors, and adoption opportunities.
The event takes place Saturday, Feb. 21, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tamarac Park, 7501 N. University Drive. The expo will be hosted by Tamarac Mayor Michelle J. Gomez, with Commissioner Morey Wright Jr. serving as co-host.
The family-friendly event will feature pet training demonstrations, a variety of vendors offering pet food, health care products, and services, and a Red Carpet Pet Parade. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet adoptable dogs, cats, and birds from local rescue partners, with some paperwork required for adoptions. Activities and offerings are subject to change.
Pets are allowed, but they must be leashed. Parking will be available in the plazas located north and south of Tamarac Park.
Those interested in becoming a vendor or sponsor, requesting pet adoption paperwork, or seeking additional information are encouraged to email MayorGomezEvents@tamarac.org. Inquiries should include “Pet Expo” in the subject line. Information is also available by calling (954) 597-3460.
The Furever Friends Pet Expo is presented in partnership with Broward County Animal Care and the City of Tamarac.
