The City of Tamarac is inviting residents to spread out their blankets and groove under the stars at Caporella Park during its upcoming “Groove on the Grass” celebration.
Set for Friday, March 6, from 7 to 9 p.m., the free outdoor concert will feature Zaya, a powerhouse vocalist who gained national attention as a contestant on “American Idol.”
Hosted by the City of Tamarac, the evening promises live music, food trucks, and a family-friendly atmosphere designed to bring the community together. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and coolers to enjoy the show comfortably. Pets are not permitted.
A variety of food trucks will be on-site, offering a range of bites throughout the evening.
There will be no on-site parking at the park. Instead, a continuous shuttle service will transport attendees from Redeeming Word Christian Center, located at 2800 Prospect Road, to Caporella Park. Shuttles will run from 5 to 10 p.m., providing access before and after the event.
The event will take place at Caporella Park, 5200 Prospect Road.
