Two drivers were hurt in a traffic crash in Tamarac Friday afternoon, including one who suffered “life-threatening injuries,” authorities said.
Broward County Regional Communications received a report of the crash involving two vehicles in the area of North Pine Island Road and West McNab Road shortly after 3 p.m., a Broward Sheriff’s Office spokesperson said.
BSO Tamarac deputies and Tamarac Fire Rescue first responders rushed to the scene, and paramedics took the drivers to area hospitals.
One of the drivers suffered life-threatening injuries, the BSO spokesperson said.

It was not immediately clear whether the person survived.
BSO’s Traffic Homicide Unit responded to investigate the crash. Additional details about the incident were not made public Friday.
