State Rep. Lisa Dunkley and Tamarac Commissioner Kicia Daniel will host the first installment of a two-part virtual town hall series focused on property taxes and Amendment 3.
According to Florida Policy Institute, the amendment would increase the homestead exemption, create a pathway to fully eliminate non-school property taxes on homesteads, and reduce the assessment growth cap on non-homesteaded properties.
This gives residents an opportunity to learn more about the proposed amendment and ask questions about how it could affect property owners.
Part one of the series will be held Tuesday, Sept. 22, from 7 to 8 p.m.
