Soccer fans will have the chance to experience the excitement of the FIFA World Cup with neighbors and friends during a series of free World Cup Watch Parties hosted by Mayor Michelle J. Gomez at Colony West Golf Club.
The family-friendly events will take place at Colony West Golf Club, 6850 NW 88th Ave., where attendees can watch matches on multiple big screens and enjoy food and drink specials for purchase. All ages are welcome.
The watch party schedule includes:
- June 24: Scotland vs. Brazil at 6 p.m.
- June 27: Colombia vs. Portugal at 7:30 p.m.
- July 3: Group J winner vs. Group H runner-up at 6 p.m.
- July 19: World Cup Final at 3 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to gather with family and friends to cheer on their favorite teams and enjoy the excitement of the tournament close to home.
