TS Aquatics swimmers Lorenzo Herek and Juan Leon made a strong impression at the Winter Junior Nationals, delivering standout performances in the pool. At the same time, the team shined at the Holiday Championship.
The duo combined for eight personal-best swims, set three team records, and reached two finals during the meet.
While fast times are always a goal, head coach Andre Bailey emphasized that the true value of the experience went beyond the results.
“Every swim mattered, and each race added to the foundation for what’s ahead,” Bailey said. “The experience gained, the lessons learned, and the confidence built racing at this level are just as important as the times themselves.”
The ladies’ team finished in second place overall. Individually, Isla El Chantry and Jameela Rashad took first and second, respectively. Devaugh Robe also finished second in the 15 & Over category.
