Tamarac’s Charlie Beaty has shined throughout his young high school baseball career at Coral Glades and has officially accepted an invitation to compete in the Florida State College Games.
Now entering his junior year, Beaty made an immediate impact as a freshman, hitting .467 with a double and four RBIs. He also made seven appearances on the mound, posting a 4.20 ERA.
Beaty continued to develop as a sophomore, lowering his ERA and recording three wins on the mound. At the plate, he drove in six runs and recorded two doubles while helping Coral Glades reach the regional playoffs.
Beaty will now have the opportunity to showcase his skills at the Florida State College Games, scheduled for Sept. 12-13 at IMG Academy.
