Don’t miss the James Taylor tribute show at the Kings Point Palace, performed by the Fire and Rain Band.
From “You’ve Got A Friend” and “Carolina In My Mind” to “Something In The Way She Moves” and “Country Road,” the show recreates the energy of the live James Taylor concerts from his heyday in the late 70s and early 80s.
The band leader, Greg Pitts, once met James Taylor at a concert and spent years learning the legendary musician’s distinctive finger-picking style, which he incorporated into his live tribute performances.
The show, which will be held on Saturday, May 18, at 8 p.m., is $10 for Kings Point residents and $15 for guests. Tickets are available online and at the venue’s box office before and on the night of the concert.
The new box office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday and 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays. On Saturdays, tickets can be purchased at the Clubhouse from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and at the Palace from 7 to 8:15 p.m.
As a reminder, shorts are not permitted in the theater, and all attendees must be 18 years or older for all shows. Kings Point Palace is open to the public.
The Palace at Kings Point is located at 7622 NW 76th St. in Tamarac.
