A Broward Sheriff’s Office deputy in Tamarac was involved in a shooting Sunday night while responding to reports of an earlier shooting, authorities said.
Deputies responded to the reported shooting in the 7800 block of Northwest 74th Ave. in Tamarac shortly after 9 p.m., according to BSO.
A deputy-involved shooting then occurred, a BSO spokesperson said Monday morning.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are being investigated, according to BSO. No additional information was immediately made public.
