CareerSource Broward Holds Veterans Career Fair in Tamarac

CareerSource Broward is holding a Paychecks for Patriots Career Fair in Tamarac, helping veterans find employment and assisting local businesses by filling vacant positions.

The fair, which will be held on Thursday, November 14, at 9 a.m. at the Tamarac Community Center, is limited to veterans, military spouses, and eligible caregivers during its first hour and will be open to the general public afterward.

Companies can register to have a booth at the event, and job seekers can apply for open positions directly and meet hiring managers and recruiters from more than 150 employers.

Participants can pre-register to receive a complete list of businesses present and the positions they’ll be looking to fill. Attendees should bring their résumés, dress for success, and be prepared to meet with employers.

The fair’s on-site Résumé Café allows job seekers to review resumes, receive administrative assistance, and sign up for Employ Florida, a free job search and referral service.

Tamarac Community Center is located at 8601 W Commercial Blvd.
