Tamarac Community Center {City of Tamarac}
Residents in Tamarac experiencing financial hardship can receive food assistance through the City of Tamarac Food Pantry, a community program that supports families in need.
The pantry is open on the first and third Thursday of every month from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Tamarac Community Center, 8601 W Commercial Blvd., and is available to qualified Tamarac residents whose household income falls within the program’s eligibility guidelines.
City officials say the initiative aims to help ensure that no resident faces food insecurity alone. The pantry provides essential grocery items to individuals and families struggling to make ends meet, offering support during difficult financial times.
To qualify, applicants must be Tamarac residents experiencing a financial hardship and have household incomes that meet the program’s income guidelines based on the number of people living in the home.
