Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates to residents, this is a summary of Tamarac crime and arrests through July 12, 2021.
Auto Theft
Woodlands Blvd.
On July 6, a person was the victim of Auto Theft. Their white 2014 Acura RDX was stolen from a parking lot.
NW 48th Ln.
On July 10, a woman was the victim of Auto Theft. She left her key fob in her Gray Mercedes parked in her driveway. The vehicle was gone when she checked in the morning.
Burglary Conveyance
Bay Blvd.
On July 9, a person was the victim of Burglary Conveyance. A storage trailer was burglarized and a Shindaiwa Hedge Trimmer and weedeater stolen. An Echo Pole Trimmer was damaged. Tot. Est. Loss: $1,000.
Burglary Residence
Commercial Blvd.
On July 8, a victim advised that while taking out the trash from his apartment, someone entered his apartment and stole his wallet off the dresser. The suspect remains unknown at this time.

On July 9, a person was the victim of Burglary Residence. Tot. Est. Loss: $320.
Criminal Mischief
N. University Dr.
On July 6, a person was the victim of criminal mischief. An unknown suspect keyed the victim’s vehicle while it was parked unattended at work.
Fire
Swordfish Cir.
On July 7, a fire occurred at a residence. All parties were evacuated, and no one was injured.
Fraud
Granville Dr.
On July 6, a person was the victim of fraud. Tot. Est. Loss: $22,966.
Landings Way
On July 7, a person was the victim of Fraud-Impersonation. Unknown person(s) fraudulently deposited money in the victim’s checking account and withdrew the money from different locations.
Property Damage
Madison Ave.
On July 9, a person was the victim of Property Damage. A male was selling his vehicle, and his friend fired his bb gun in the parking lot while waiting. A bb accidentally hit one of the windows on the front of the victim’s building and cracked it. The victim wanted to file a report for the record. A window repairman, sent by the bb shooter, arrived to fix the window.
Robbery
Lakeside Dr.
On July 6, while preaching the bible to an unknown subject, a person was the victim of strong-arm robbery and robbed of their cellphone.
Theft
NW 44th St.
On July 8, a person was the victim of Theft. Tot. Est. Loss: $900
Arrests
Castronova, Joseph Dino, 35, was arrested on charges of Warrant-burglary Of A Conveyance on Buttonwood Cir on 07/06/2021.
Garcia, Pedro, 40, was arrested on Trespassing-occupied Structure Or Conveyance charges on N University Dr on 07/06/2021.
Ramirez Ruiz, Elfego Mariano, 36, was arrested on charges of Dui Alcohol Or Drugs 1st Offense on W Commercial Blvd on 07/07/2021.
Clayton, Cashious Agustus, 36, was arrested on charges of Possession Of Cocaine on NW 46th Ter on 07/08/2021.
Pennant, Andrew Phillip, 31, was arrested on charges of Veh Theft-grand Theft Of Motor Vehicle on N State Road 7 on 07/10/2021.
Ali, Ameer Ben, 32, was arrested on charges of Trespassing-structure Or Conveyance on W Commercial Blvd on 07/10/2021.
Neuner, George Gerard, 53, was arrested on charges of Battery-on Person 65 Years Of Age Or Older on Nob Hill Cir on 07/10/2021.
O`Dell, Richard Dylan, 22, was arrested on charges of Touch Or Strike/battery/domestic Viol at The Commons on 07/11/2021.
