Dog of the Week: Amico Will Steal Your Heart

By Agrippina Fadel

Amico loves meeting new people. This brindle American Staffordshire Terrier mix is intelligent and observant with a puppy-like personality.

According to Broward County Animal Care, Amico is two-years-old and weighs 65 pounds. He has been at the shelter since January.

This pup enjoys affection and is always ready to give back some sweet licks and kisses. Amico loves playing fetch, knows how to sit and lay down, and takes treats very gently. He has a beautiful brindle coat and sheds very little.

This handsome pup does well around people and is ready to steal the heart of his very own human.

Like many other large dogs at the Broward Animal Care and Adoption Center, Amico needs a kennel break. The shelter is running over capacity and needs the public to come out and adopt or foster pets.
