Enjoy a day by the pool and learn about water safety at the Pirate Plunge and Safety Sail event at the Caporella Aquatic Complex.
Held on Saturday, May 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the free event by the City of Tamarac includes hands-on live-saving swim lessons, a drowning prevention rescue mission showcase, and an educational seminar about safety in and around the water.
After the learning session is over, the families can enjoy the pool, “sprayground,” and waterslides.
