Feeding South Florida, a domestic hunger-relief organization, is continuing its efforts to ease the burden of financial hardships and food insecurity related to COVID-19.

Throughout the week, they’ll continue offering drive-thru food distributions to ensure the health and safety of volunteers and community members, while still giving people the food that they need.

On Wednesday, May 20, they’ll be holding a food distribution in Tamarac, as they’ve done several times throughout South Florida since the COVID-19 pandemic began. Wednesday’s distribution will take place from 9:00 a.m. to approximately 11:00 a.m., at the Christian Life Center, located at 2699 W. Commerical Boulevard.

On Saturday, May 23, from 8:00 a.m. to approximately 11:00 a.m., they will be hosting a distribution at the Korean United Methodist Church at 6501 W. Commercial Boulevard.

The food will be distributed first-come, first-serve, as long as supplies last.
