With the beginning of December and major holidays such as Christmas and Hannukah approaching, Feeding South Florida and local organizations continue to offer free food to Tamarac residents during their time of need.
The distributions, which began at the onset of the pandemic’s surge in Florida, have continued throughout – and as cases rise during this third wave of the pandemic, there continue to be many families still in need of relief.
The first scheduled distribution of the month is on Saturday, December 5, at the Korean United Methodist Church, located at 6501 W Commercial Boulevard, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. They will also host distributions on Saturdays, December 12, and December 19.
Christian Life Center, located at 2699 W Commercial Boulevard, will also be hosting food distributions, on Wednesdays, December 9 and December 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Additionally, one distribution will be held at Community Christian Church, located at 10001 W Commercial Boulevard, on Monday, December 21, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
