
Hampton Hills in Tamarac {Google Maps}
Homicide detectives are investigating after a man was found dead in a Tamarac canal Monday morning, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities received a call shortly before 7:30 a.m. about a body floating in the canal in the 5700 block of Hampton Hills Boulevard, officials said.
BSO’s Tamarac District deputies and BSO’s Dive Team responded to the scene, where the body of an adult male was recovered.
BSO’s Homicide Unit detectives responded to the scene and are investigating the man’s death, according to BSO.
The agency did not release additional information about the incident.
