Investigation of Death in Woodmont after Gunshots Reported

BSO deputies responded to a 911 called after they said they reported hearing gunshots from a nearby home at the 7900 block of 85 Ave in the Les Jardins Community of Woodmont in Tamarac on Thursday afternoon.

Deputies were not able to make contact with anyone inside, and BSO’s SWAT team responded to the scene. When SWAT team members went inside they discovered the deceased body of Ivan Brandt, 51. BSO homicide and crime scene units responded to continue the death investigation.
