A store owner valiantly tries to fight off a group of men who rob a jewelry store last Saturday.
Around 4:00 p.m., a male suspect entered the Immanuel Jewelry Store, at 1315 N. SR7, in Lauderhill through the front door and pulled out a hammer from under his shirt using it to smash the glass jewelry display boxes at the front of the store.
Several additional male suspects soon rushed into the store and grabbed the jewelry that had been contained in the displays. One of the suspects is seen carrying a plastic bin resembling a common recycling container and used it to collect the jewelry. The suspects then fled from the mall. All of the suspects were wearing masks and gloves.
No one was injured during this robbery.
The Lauderhill Police Department is asking that anyone with information on this crime to contact Detective Derek Carseni at (954) 497- 4700, Broward Crime Stoppers – 954-493 TIPS (8477) or send an anonymous text to TIPS411 (8477411) and enter LPD and information.
