Commissioner Kicia Daniel is partnering with Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. and the Delta Upsilon Sigma Alumnae Chapter to host a Youth Symposium to empower young people through leadership, education, and self-development.
The event, themed “Level Up: Becoming Your Best Self,” will take place on Saturday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Tamarac Community Center, located at 8601 W. Commercial Blvd.
Designed for youth ages 8 to 18, the symposium will feature a variety of interactive and educational activities focused on personal growth and future success. Organizers say attendees can expect presentations, college and career resources, scholarship information, and vendor exhibits, along with engaging sessions centered on life skills and social development.
The free event will also include giveaways and lunch.
