
Tamarac Community Center {City of Tamarac}
Small business owners will have an opportunity to connect with city leaders, explore funding opportunities and learn how to compete for major contracts at the upcoming Build Tamarac Luncheon on Tuesday, March 31.
The luncheon begins at noon at the Tamarac Community Center, 8601 W. Commercial Blvd.
Hosted by the city, the event is designed to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses by offering information on small-business grants, vendor registration, and the bidding process for future city projects.
According to event information, attendees will learn how to tap into small-business grants ranging from $5,000 to $100,000, register as a vendor with the city, and gain insight into how to bid on a share of $150 million in possible upcoming projects.
Guest speakers include Paul A. Bassar, senior procurement specialist, and Kenneth Lopez of economic and redevelopment.
Registration is $108.50 and includes lunch and a swag bag. Those interested can register at tamarac.gov/build.
