Lauderhill Gears Up for Neighbor-to-Neighbor Volunteer Day

Lauderhill Commissioner Denise D. Grant.

Don’t miss the upcoming Neighbor to Neighbor Volunteer Day, scheduled for Friday, June 28.

This community-driven event, championed by Lauderhill Commissioner Denise D. Grant, promises to bring together volunteers for a neighborhood cleanup followed by a food distribution drive.

Starting at 8:00 a.m., volunteers will gather at John Mullins Park, located at 2000 NW 55th Avenue, ready to roll up their sleeves and beautify the community.

Following the cleanup, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., volunteers and residents can participate in a food distribution drive.

This initiative seeks to support local families in need and ensure they have access to essential food supplies. The food distribution will operate on a first-come, first-served basis, utilizing a convenient drive-thru service to efficiently serve as many people as possible.

For those interested in participating or seeking more information, please contact 954-730-3016 or visit the City of Lauderhill’s website at www.lauderhill-fl.gov.
