The City of Tamarac will host another movie night at Tamarac Park on Friday, March 8.
This edition of ‘Movies at the Park’ will feature the timeless classic, “The Little Mermaid,” showcased on a gigantic inflatable screen. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. and will feature a family-friendly night filled with entertainment, food, and fun.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their blankets, lawn chairs, and favorite snacks to enjoy a cozy movie experience.
Before the movie at 8:00 p.m., early arrivers will be treated to pre-movie activities, including face painting, bounce houses, live music, and a wide variety of offerings from local food trucks.
“The Little Mermaid” is a Disney film about Ariel, a mermaid princess who dreams of becoming human after falling in love with Prince Eric. She makes a deal with Ursula, the sea witch, trading her voice for legs to pursue her love on land.
Ariel’s quest for love and happiness leads her to confront Ursula’s evil schemes with the help of her friends, ultimately finding her voice and true love while restoring peace to her underwater kingdom.
Tamarac Sports Complex is located at 9901 NW 77th Street. ‘Movies at the Park’ is a free event open to the public.
