PuroClean, a Tamarac property restoration company, has adopted a Millennium 6-12 Collegiate Academy classroom as part of a nationwide initiative to give back.
In Tamarac, they focused on assisting a dedicated middle school teacher, Kay Thomas, in furnishing her classroom with essential supplies.
The Adopt-a-Classroom Campaign is PuroClean’s way of acknowledging and easing that burden for educators who go above and beyond for their students.
Thomas teaches six classes with up to 30 students each. She is part of Millennium’s STEAM program, which blends science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics, fostering creativity and innovation among students aged 11 to 13.
After Millennium was ranked number one in public high schools in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties by U.S. News & World Report, Steve White, president and COO of PuroClean, was inspired by the achievements and proud to be giving back to the community. White believes that being good corporate citizens is the core of what PuroClean does, both at their home office and through our franchise network.
The company delivered supplies on August 26, just before the school’s Open House. This way, Thomas’s students had the necessary resources as school began.
White also invited the STEAM class to visit PuroClean’s state-of-the-art training facility in Tamarac this school year.
He added, “We deeply appreciate the hard work of educators.”
