Savvy Sliders, a fast-food-forward restaurant known for its hand-breaded fried chicken fingers, gourmet sliders, and hand-spun custard shakes, has officially planted its flag in Florida with the opening of its Tamarac store, its first Florida store.
Following the City Commission’s approval of special exceptions and variances back in January, Savvy Sliders is now serving customers at its 2400 West Commercial Boulevard location, a spacious 2,149-square-foot store nestled at the intersection of West Commercial Boulevard and Prospect Road, a spot locals will recognize the location as the prior home to Moe’s Southwest Grill.
Before opening its doors, Savvy Sliders embarked on a renovation project that featured revamping the building’s exterior to match Savvy Sliders’ distinctive branding. Construction also included the addition of a pick-up window and cozy in-store seating for up to 20 guests.
Savvy Sliders advertises itself as a premium-quality fast-food option with a higher commitment to quality than most. According to the restaurant’s website, they never use frozen beef and only bring “the best” ingredients in-house.
The menu features many combos, including options that pair a slider with their signature extra-large chicken fingers. Side options include traditional fries, sweet potato fries, cheese curds, onion rings, and sweet potato fries.
For those with a sweet tooth, Savvy Sliders serves Custard Shake, with classic flavors like vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry, and extravagant creations featuring M&M’s, Oreo’s, and a strawberry shortcake and banana pudding variety.
For larger groups, catering options feature boxes that contain up to 96 sliders and/or chicken fingers.
While Tamarac is home to the chain’s first Florida location, plans are underway to expand in South Florida to nearby areas in Sunrise, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami.
