Stop the BS and the Lies: Trump’s Attack on Clinton

By: Roy Trachtenberg

Stop the bitching. There is a widespread belief that some voters don’t like the choices for our next President. Well, too late – this is the choice:  Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump.

If you don’t vote – it’s essentially a vote for Donald Trump. South Florida has to outvote North Florida or, like in 2014, the result will be Rick Scott and the rest of the Republicans winning Florida.

Or, they say that they will vote for a third party choice. That’s the same as not voting, it’s a vote for Trump for the same reason.  We need a huge voter turnout in South Florida to carry the entire state.

Obfuscating the Truth

Why do we hear more about Hillary’s emails than we do Trump’s rape and fraud trials coming up this fall? A federal lawsuit filed in New York accuses Donald Trump of repeatedly raping a 13-year-old girl more than 20 years ago, at several Upper East Side parties hosted by convicted sex offender and billionaire investor Jeffrey Epstein. The suit, first reported by the Real Deal, accuses Trump and Epstein of luring the anonymous plaintiff and other young women to four parties at Epstein’s so-called Wexner Mansion at 9 East 71st Street. Epstein allegedly lured the plaintiff, identified in the suit only as Jane Doe, with promises of a modeling career and cash.

Trump and Trump University are facing three lawsuits, not just one, according to huffingtonpost.com. The first suit was filed in California in 2010, by a woman named Tara Makaeff, who along with other plaintiffs, accused Trump University of fraud, breach of contract and false advertising. That case is moving forward.

The second class-action lawsuit in California was filed in 2013 by businessman Art Cohen. In this case, the complaint alleges that the “Live Events” sold by Trump University were never intended to teach attendees how to invest in real estate, they were merely meant to convince people to pay for more seminars. This case is scheduled to go to trial in late November, with jury selection starting a few weeks earlier.

The third case is the only one filed in New York, brought by Schneiderman, Attorney General of N.Y,  in August 2013. It alleges that Trump University, Donald Trump, and former Trump University president Michael Sexton all engaged in “persistent fraudulent, illegal and deceptive conduct” in their running of the seminar company.

The FBI, US State Department, and the Attorney General said that Hillary did nothing wrong. This is a continuation of the Republican attack on Hillary Clinton. Republicans have spent 25 years and $500 million dollars on witch hunts that have turned up absolutely nothing. The FBI has found no evidence that Secretary Clinton broke the law with her email. No classified documents were lost. Repeated independent inquiries have found no evidence that she committed any wrongdoing with Benghazi. Three years and seven million dollars of our tax dollars spent on a Republican lie campaign. But because a lie travels around the world while the truth is still putting on its pants, you’re convinced she’s a lying traitor.

The fact is, you were lied to for political gain, and you’ve been played the fool every time you repeat the lie.

Trump, the Pathological Liar

Trump has spent much of campaign claiming that he’s being honest, and claiming that Hillary is “lying” or “crooked”. Impartial fact-checking outlets have been researching every major claim made by both candidates since the election began. The most widely respected fact-checkers rate Hillary as being honest most of the time, while rating “Trump as a pathological liar.” PolitiFact found only 4 percent of Trump’s statements rated as being fully “True”. That means 96 percent of his statements are less than fully honest.

That qualifies Trump as being a pathological liar. In contrast, PolitiFact rates Hillary Clinton as telling the truth the majority of the time; far more honest than Donald Trump. Of all the candidates who ran, Hillary Clinton rates as the most honest of the bunch.

After all, not only is Trump lying most of the time, he’s lying about Hillary being a liar.
