The rhythm of summer continues in Tamarac with free dance lessons hosted by Mayor Michelle Gomez and Commissioner Elvin Villalobos.
After teaching the Bachata and Merengue in June and July, the final lesson of the season, featuring Salsa, is scheduled for Friday, August 16, from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
Participants can join solo or with a partner to learn the popular Latin dance.
Following the summer sessions, residents are invited to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a free dance party at the Tamarac Community Center on Saturday, September 14, from 3 to 5 p.m.
