Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Tamarac crime and arrests through July 25, 2022.
Burglary Business
N. University Dr.
A person was the victim of Burglary Business on 07/21/2022. The suspect smashed the front glass front door to gain entry into the business. The suspect wore a black jacket and pants, with a white glove on the right hand and a black glove on the left hand. The subject ransacked the business and did not steal anything from inside.
Burglary Conveyance
Black Olive Way
A person was the victim of Burglary Conveyance on 07/21/2022. Two unlocked vehicles were broken into overnight, and items were taken from inside. Tot. Est. Loss: $280.
Burglary Residence
Yardley Dr.
A person was the victim of a Burglary Residence on 07/23/2022. The victim stated she arrived home and noticed her jewelry and money were missing from her residence. No forced entry. Tot. Est. Loss: $4,000.
Criminal Mischief
Gate Lake Dr.
A person was the victim of Criminal Mischief on 07/19/2022. The victim noticed that someone had thrown a glass beer bottle through the front window of his residence. The victim believes he knows who did this.
N. Pine Island Rd.
A business was the victim of Criminal Mischief on 07/22/2022. A male subject became frustrated inside the business and kicked a glass door, causing it to crack.
Noise Violation
NW 80th St.
A Municipal Ordinance Viol was reported on 07/24/2022. The noise was audible beyond 400 feet. The city ordinance is 25 feet beyond the property line.
Robbery
N. University Dr.
A store was the victim of Robbery on 07/19/2022. A suspect entered with a black, semi-automatic handgun and stole a $1 Arizona sweet tea. The suspect pushed the employee out of the way upon exiting the store and stated, “You are lucky I don’t cap you.” Tot. Est. Loss: $1.
Arrests
Manion, Carla Jean, 36, was arrested on charges of Fraud-impersonate-false Id Given To Leo on N University Dr on 07/20/2022.
Mayerhofer, Michael Wolfgang, 62, was arrested on charges of Contempt Of Court-viol Injunction Protection Domestic Violence on Nw 80th Ct on 07/20/2022.
Colbert, Wayne Patrick, 24, was arrested on Touch Or Strike/battery/domestic Viol charges on Nw 57th Pl on 07/21/2022.
Rosales, Alfredo, 28, was arrested on charges of Warrant-charge Cnt: 1 Released on his own recognizance -trespass After Warning on W Commercial Blvd on 07/22/2022.
Odekeye, Festus Adetokunbo, 40, was arrested on Touch Or Strike/battery/domestic Viol charges on W Mcnab Rd on 07/23/2022.
