The Broward County Sheriff’s Office in Tamarac responded to various incidents through September 15, 2025. Below is a detailed account of the incidents and arrests handled by local law enforcement during this period.

Death Investigations

Sept. 9 — an 81-year-old female was found deceased at 2604 NW 54th St. in Tamarac. Authorities classified the case as a death investigation.

Sept. 13 — An adult female was found unconscious and later pronounced deceased at the hospital.

Assaults and Batteries

Sept. 9 — A workplace battery was reported when a worker allegedly shoved a coworker in a hallway.

Sept. 10 — A female victim was attacked at gunpoint inside her vehicle by her boyfriend in a case classified as aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, domestic violence.

Sept. 10 — A battery was reported at Old Time Pottery on W. Commercial Blvd. involving resisting arrest.

Sept. 11 — Domestic battery was reported between ex-spouses.

Sept. 14 — A female reported a disturbance involving two others, though no physical altercation occurred.

Sept. 14 — A female reported being struck multiple times by another female inside a facility; no visible injuries were observed.

Thefts and Burglaries

Sept. 9 — A Bank of America debit card was used fraudulently for $6,100 in withdrawals.

Sept. 9 — Sawgrass Infiniti reported a stolen vehicle.

Sept. 9 — A male reported his vehicle stolen.

Sept. 10 — Mail theft was reported from a building mailbox.

Sept. 11 — Shoplifting was reported at Shell, 5001 N. State Road 7, where two beers worth $5.79 were stolen.

Sept. 11 — Winn Dixie, 3116 W. Commercial Blvd., reported $188.59 in goods stolen by an unidentified male who fled on a motorcycle.

Sept. 15 — Amazon reported a theft of $2,740 at 10681 W. McNab Rd.

Fraud and Financial Crimes

Sept. 10 — An identity theft was reported by a female

Sept. 11 — A victim reported fraud dating back to 2024 involving a worthless check.

Sept. 10 — A Tamarac resident lost $8,300 in an Apple email scam.

Sept. 12 — A fraudulent check worth $4,990 was cashed in the name of Adela Maria Garcia.

Domestic Disturbances (Non-Criminal)

Numerous verbal disputes were reported, including arguments between partners, family members, and custody-related exchanges on Sept. 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14.

Baker/Marchman Acts

Several individuals were taken for involuntary mental health or substance abuse evaluations between Sept. 9 and Sept. 12.

Other Notable Incidents

Sept. 9 — A dog bite was reported.

Sept. 10 — A violation of a domestic violence injunction was reported; a warrant was issued.

Sept. 11 — A robbery attempt was reported around 12:45 p.m.

Sept. 12 — Deputies responded to a delayed school threat.

Sept. 13 — Deputies responded to a suspicious incident involving a male dragging a female from a house.

Arrests

Sept. 9 — Fritz Junior Finisse, 21, was arrested for aggravated battery on a pregnant victim.

Sept. 10 — Solomon Demond Loud, 22, was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, domestic violence.

Sept. 10 — Jerald Hezeikah Leonard, 24, was arrested for battery (touch or strike).

Sept. 12 — Reyna Suezette Villena, 28, was arrested on a warrant at 5751 Madison Ave.

Sept. 13 — Luis Romero, 35, was arrested for domestic battery (touch or strike).

Sept. 15 — Dennisa Marie Pena, 30, was arrested on a warrant for failure to register a vehicle.
