INCIDENTS
Burglary & Theft
Residential Burglary — Four Samsung appliances valued at $2,888 were stolen from a vacant investment property. Damage was also reported to the door frame. (10/07)
Burglary Conveyance — Three unlocked vehicles were rummaged through in the same neighborhood. (10/07)
Retail Thefts — Multiple shoplifting incidents were reported at Walgreens, CVS, Old Time Pottery, and Publix involving suspects stealing merchandise ranging from $60 to $2,000 in value. (10/07–10/10)
Theft – All Other — Several reports of personal items and paid merchandise being stolen, including a phone from a sleeping victim at a bus stop. (Multiple Dates)
Burglary Business — Two separate business burglaries were reported, including one incident where a suspect entered an employee-only area and pushed staff. (10/10)
Auto Theft — Vehicles were reported stolen from residential locations on Westwood Drive and Rock Island Road. (10/09–10/10)
Fraud & Financial Crimes
Victims reported being scammed through social media loan schemes and unauthorized bank activity by a relative. Losses reported between $2,000–$2,276. (10/09–10/11)
Batteries & Disturbances
Multiple domestic disturbances were reported with no arrests due to verbal-only incidents.
Domestic Battery Arrests — Victims reported physical altercations leading to arrests. (10/07, 10/09, 10/10, 10/11)
Battery at McDonald’s — A suspect punched a victim and fled. (10/10)
Bar Altercation — A woman reported being pushed after a chair was pulled out from under her. (10/12)
Aggravated Battery — Two separate victims reported being struck in incidents classified as aggravated battery. (10/11)
Robbery
Domestic-related Robbery — A victim reported robbery during a domestic altercation. (10/09)
Robbery by Sudden Snatching — A victim reported their belongings forcibly taken. (10/10)
Baker / Marchman Act & Mental Health Calls
Multiple individuals, including juveniles, were taken into protective custody under the Baker Act for mental health evaluations. (10/07–10/10)
Fire & Public Safety
Structure Fire at Taco Bell — Fire units responded to a water heater fire. The building was closed pending inspection. (10/09)
Shooting / Shots Fired — Several callers reported hearing gunshots. Deputies canvassed the area but found no evidence. (10/12)
Suspicious Incidents
Several suspicious activity reports, including individuals photographing schoolchildren and checking vehicle door handles at night. (10/10–10/12)
Missing Persons
