Incidents
Battery (Multiple Incidents):
Several battery cases were reported throughout the week, including domestic disputes between couples and incidents involving physical altercations inside vehicles. In multiple cases, alleged offenders were taken into custody.
Aggravated Assault with a Weapon:
A suspect was arrested after threatening a victim with a knife during an argument. The individual was transported to jail on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Death Investigations (2 Incidents):
A deceased woman was found near a hotel parking lot.
Another individual was discovered unresponsive inside a residence and pronounced dead at the scene.
Vehicle Burglaries & Thefts:
A wallet was stolen from a vehicle while the victim was at the gym.
Another delayed report involved a firearm and a counterfeit Rolex stolen from a vehicle.
Multiple vehicles had rims and tires stolen, including one left on bricks in an apartment parking lot (estimated loss: $4,000).
Burglary (Residence):
A bicycle was reported stolen from outside a residence.
Retail Theft:
A shoplifting incident at Walgreens resulted in approximately $51 in losses.
Fraud Cases:
A victim was scammed out of $600 by someone posing as a detective.
Another reported unauthorized charges tied to a gym account.
Additional fraud and attempted fraud cases were documented.
Criminal Mischief ($2,800 Damage):
An unknown suspect entered a mattress store, sat on furniture, and urinated on a display sofa, rendering it unsellable.
Trespassing:
Individuals were arrested after returning to properties where they had previously been warned to stay away.
Baker Act / Mental Health Incidents:
Multiple individuals were taken into custody under the Baker Act after expressing suicidal ideations or exhibiting erratic behavior, including one person chasing cars in a parking lot.
Domestic Disturbances (Non-Criminal):
Numerous verbal disputes were reported between family members, couples, and roommates. No physical violence was reported in these cases.
Missing Person (Recovered):
A juvenile reported missing out of Miami Gardens was located in Tamarac and safely returned.
Lost / Found Property:
Several reports included lost wallets and found property turned in to authorities.

Jean-Robert Ocean, 42 – Domestic battery causing bodily harm.
Da’niyah Thames, 19 – Driving with a suspended license.
Raul Reynoso, 68 – Trespassing after warning.
Saul Vargas, 49 – Felony threat to discharge a destructive device (bomb threat).
Abigale Sibblies, 21 – Domestic battery causing bodily harm.
Getthy Philogene, 33 – Domestic battery.
Keziah Baker, 21 – Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Isabela Gonzalez, 27 – Domestic battery.
Richard Ashley, 29 – Trespassing.
Joshua Pena, 41 – Domestic battery.
Demetrius Major, 20 – Dating violence battery.
Daniel Lisanti, 34 – Felony domestic battery by strangulation.
