Tamarac Crime Update: Auto Thefts and Fraud

Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Tamarac crime and arrests through Oct. 24, 2022.

Auto Theft

NW 64th Ave.

A 70-year-old male was the victim of Auto Theft on 10/20/2022 when his 2007 Mercury Milan was taken without his permission.

NW 59th Ct.

A 25-year-old male was the victim of Auto Theft on 10/19/2022. His 2022 gray Honda Accord was stolen from a guest parking lot.

Battery

NW 70th Ave.

A 36-year-old female was the victim of Battery on 10/20/2022.

Holly Ct.

A 69-year-old male was shoved during a verbal altercation on 10/21/2022.

Fraud

NW 106th Ave.

A 71-year-old male was the victim of Fraud – All Other on 10/18/2022. The reporting person stated he paid $4,000 to have work done on his residence that was never done.

A 26-year-old female was the victim of Fraud at – Credit Card Atm on 10/19/2022. Tot. Est. Loss: $208.

Information

5800 NW 94th Ave.

On 10/22/2022, deputies responded about a 6-year-old female falling off the swings at the park and hurting her neck. The child was transported to the hospital.

Arrests

Acosta Santos, Wander Jose, 20, was arrested on charges of Drive While Lic Susp 1st Off on University Dr on 10/20/2022.

Cucchi, Antonio Joseph, 26, was arrested on charges of Driving License Suspended on Plum Bay Pkwy/Nob Hill Rd on 10/20/2022.7

Martin, Tyler Alexan, 23, was arrested on charges of Battery-on Person 65 Years Of Age Or Older on Holly Ct on 10/21/2022.
