Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Tamarac crime and arrests through Aug. 29, 2022.
Burglary Conveyance
W. Commercial Blvd.
A person was the victim of Burglary Conveyance on 08/23/2022. A black iPhone 7 was taken. Tot. Est. Loss: $600.
W. Commercial Blvd.
A person was the victim of Burglary Conveyance on 08/25/2022. A man wearing all black clothing with a hoodie over his head, carrying a red backpack, unlawfully entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and removed his wallet located in the center console. Victim said the wallet was worth approximately $50 dollars.
Death Investigation
NW 74th Ave.
On 08/23/2022, a male was found in his room unresponsive. No known medical or drug issues. Homicide and Crime Scene responded.
Domestic Disturbance
Royal Way
A Domestic Disturbance (non-crime) was reported on 08/24/2022. A couple is going through a divorce and had a verbal argument. The wife said she was having her cousin come pick her up and the husband thought she said she was having someone come over to beat him up. He just requested it be documented.
Fraud
Gate Lake Rd.
A person was the victim of Fraud – Worthless Check on 08/23/2022. Money was paid by check in the month of June 2022, payable to numerous alias names under victim’s name.
NW 56th Pl.
On 08/26/2022, deputies responded to a call in reference to a missing adult from an assisted living facility. The adult was located and returned to the home. However, he had been a victim of a multi-year scam where he was tricked out of $350,000. To this point, he was too embarrassed to report it to anyone other than his family.
Missing Person
N. University Dr.
A Missing Person case was reported on 08/23/2022. A male Baker Act patient, 29, jumped into a canal to avoid police and nearly drowned.
Robbery
N. University Dr.
A person was the victim of Robbery on 08/24/2022. Deputies responded in reference to an assault and an investigation showed a robbery had occurred. Tot. Est. Loss: $41.
Arrests
Clark, Jachenka Brunee, 40, was arrested on charges of Touch Or Strike/battery/domestic Viol on Nw 51st Ter on 08/23/2022.
Vixama, Franki, 31, was arrested on charges of Touch Or Strike/battery/domestic Viol on Nw 58th Ct on 08/23/2022.
Rousseau, Max Steve, 30, was arrested on charges of Battery-cause Bodily Harm – Domestic Violence on NW 47th Ln on 08/25/2022.
Schrameck, Dean Andrew, 36, was arrested on charges of Robbery-no Firearm Or Weapon on N State Road 7 on 08/25/2022.
Ramos Rivas, Marcos Joel, 30, was arrested on charges of Warrant- 1 Ct Resisting W/o Ct 2 Assault at 5700 N University Dr on 08/27/2022.
