Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Tamarac crime and arrests through Nov. 7, 2022.
Aggravated Battery
N. Colony Cir.
A person was the victim of an Aggravated Battery on 11/04/2022. The victim advised that his girlfriend struck him several times in the hands and forearm with a broken beer bottle after an argument over breaking up.
Auto Theft
Wedgewood Ter.
A person was the victim of Auto Theft on 11/05/2022. Deputies met with the car owner, who advised unknown suspect(s) stole her 2022 black Honda Accord from in front of her townhome.
Burglary Conveyance
Island Club Dr.
A person was the victim of Burglary Conveyance on 11/02/2022. Tot. Est. Loss: $1,320.
Fire
NW 81st Ct.
A residential fire was reported on 11/01/2022.
NW 64th Ave
A fire was reported on 11/02/2022. Deputy responded to a structure fire and arrived at the same time as Tamarac Fire Rescue and quickly learned the fire was restricted to the kitchen. No evacuation was needed as Fire Rescue could extinguish the fire without issue.
Fraud
Lychee Dr.
A person was the victim of Fraud – All Other on 11/01/2022. The complainant was scammed out of $9,500 in a “grandson in jail” scam. Tot. Est. Loss: $9,500.
Missing Person
NW 57th St.
A Missing Person report was made on 11/02/2022. A habitual juvenile ran away from home again without letting her mother know where she was.
Robbery
W. Commercial Blvd.
Winn Dixie was the victim of a Robbery on 11/02/2022. A Female entered and attempted to leave the store with a cart full of unpaid items. While trying to leave the store, the female displayed a taser and activated it at the management staff. The female was detained at a nearby location and charged accordingly.

Sutherland, Tyshon Arrandale Junio, 20, was arrested on charges of Veh Theft-grand Theft Of Motor Vehicle on W Mcnab Rd on 11/01/2022.
Jarrett, Michael Anthony, 21, was arrested on charges of Burgl Dwel/struct/convey Armed on NW 96th Ter on 11/01/2022.
Moore, Torqunetta Lashad, 33, was arrested on charges of Robbery-with Weapon on W Commercial Blvd on 11/02/2022.
Marsh, Reece Duane, 36, was arrested on charges of Aggrav Assault – Weapon-w Deadly Weapon Without Intent To Kill on Nw 70th Av/w Commercial Blvd on 11/03/2022.
Ozarowski, Tinamarie, 42, was arrested on Agg Battery Cause Bodily Harm/disability – domestic charges on N Colony Cir on 11/04/2022.
Negron Panadeiros, Luis Rafael, 29, was arrested on charges of Warrant: Pedestrian Obstruct Of Traffic/no Permit on N Pine Island Rd on 11/05/2022.
