Tamarac Crime Update: Stolen Maserati and Indecent Exposure

Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates to residents, this is a summary of Tamarac crime and arrests through September 6, 2021.

Auto Theft

Rock Island Rd.

On Sept. 6, a 37-year-old male called to report a stolen Maserati. He stated he arrived home early in the morning and noticed his vehicle was gone.

Battery

State Rd. 7

On Aug. 31, a 45-year-old male was struck by a known offender.

NW 71st Pl.

On Aug. 31, the victim returned trash that had been illegally dumped on condo property to the people who had dumped it. The property owner argued with and shoved the victim. There were no injuries.

Criminal Mischief

Fairview Dr.

On Sept. 1, a 35-year-old female reported that she is currently being stalked and believes the perpetrator smashed in her window.

Domestic Battery

Laurel Ln.

On Sept. 1, a 21-year-old female was the victim of domestic battery. Two cousins who reside within the same household were fighting after a verbal altercation.

Indecent Exposure

NW 70th St.

On Sept. 4, a 43-year-old female driver was told by a man he wanted to show her something, then exposed himself to her as he left her vehicle.

Possession of Weapon

Southgate Blvd.

On Sept. 3, Alexandre Munder was placed under arrest after a traffic stop for unlawful firearm possession. Munder had an active domestic violence injunction under his name. Munder was transported to the main jail for further processing.

Runaway

Rock Island Rd.

On Sept. 1, the caller advised that her daughter left last night at 10 p.m. and has not returned home. The phone is off, and she does not have any contact info of friends.

Theft

NW 67th Ave.

On Sept. 1, a 48-year-old female was the victim of theft. The victim reported a friend stole several items while he was helping her move.

Commercial Blvd.

A store was the victim of theft on Sept. 3. Kevin Armatrading, 30, entered the store and began loading up his backpack and plastic bags with a lot of merchandise. Armatrading walked past all points of sale without making any attempt to pay for the concealed merchandise. He was located and detained across the street. The total amount of merchandise stolen and recovered was $1,696.47. Armatrading was transported to the BSO Main Jail.

Arrests

Suarez Castro, Kevin Sebastian, 21, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle without a license on NW 75th Ave on Sept. 1.

Kevin Armatrading, 30, was arrested on larceny-grand theft on W Commercial Blvd on Sept. 3.

Munder, Alexandre Alberto, 54, was arrested on charges of possession of a weapon on Southgate Blvd on Sept. 3.

Phillips, Kamari Armani, 21, was arrested on charges of a warrant for trespassing on Treehouse Ln on Sept. 5.

Bonhomme, Penuel, 28, was arrested on charges of stalking on Fairview Dr on Sept. 5.

Bey, Azaad Ramessu Hetep, 28, was arrested on charges of aggravated battery on NW 76th Dr. on Sept. 5.

Robert Mack, 37, was arrested on charges of fraud on NW 49th St on Sept. 5.
