The City of Tamarac will host its annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 26, at 10:30 a.m. at Veterans’ Park, 7825 Southgate Blvd., inviting residents to join in remembering and honoring those who gave their lives in service to the United States.
This solemn event will feature a keynote address by Major Maryanna Sheck of the U.S. Marine Corps, whose remarks will reflect on America’s fallen heroes’ enduring legacy and sacrifice.
The ceremony will begin with a Presentation of Colors by the Tamarac Fire Rescue Honor Guard, followed by a wreath-laying ceremony to commemorate the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
Musical tributes will include a cappella and instrumental performances by the Miamians and the Celtic Bagpipe Team.
Admission is free.
