Tamarac residents who live in neighborhoods with overnight parking restrictions can apply for a temporary parking decal when they need short-term parking for guests, home improvements, or other circumstances.
The city’s Temporary Parking Decal Program is available only to residents of neighborhoods with overnight parking restrictions. Applicants must provide proof of residency, and each household may receive one decal.
A decal is valid for up to 14 days within a calendar month. Display it on the inside lower driver’s side corner of the windshield, and keep it clearly visible while the vehicle is parked.
The decal permits overnight parking only on the approved dates. Drivers must still follow other parking rules, including restrictions involving fire hydrants, fire lanes, sidewalks, bicycle lanes, and driveways.
Residents can find more information on the city’s parking decal page.
