From Uno to Twister: Tamarac’s Family Game Night Has Something for Everyone

Get ready for a night of fun and friendly competition with the upcoming Family Game Night hosted by the City of Tamarac Parks and Recreation Department.

Held on Friday, May 12, from 6.30 to 8 p.m. at the Tamarac Community Center, the free event has no age restrictions. The Game Night includes several family-friendly interactive activities and light refreshments.

Parks and Rec Director Greg Warner said the Family Game Night is one of many activities planned for families in Tamarac. “These days, everyone is so busy. Let our team plan the activities you can enjoy together to strengthen family and neighborly bonds,” Warner added.

Family-friendly games include Twister, Trouble Board Game, Checkers, UNO, Cornhole, Connect 4, Golf Ball Activities, Rock/Paper/Scissors, Ping Pong, Jenga, Freeze Dance, and Ice Breaker: head, knees, and toes activity.

Future Game Nights include Family Bowling Night at Sawgrass Lanes on June 9, Family Craft Night on July 14, Family Vision Board on August 11, Family Reunion Dinner on September 26, and Family Costume Party on October 28.
