Held on Friday, May 10, at the Tamarac Sports Complex, the event will start at 6:30 p.m. with face painting, bounce house, food trucks, and music, followed by the movie promptly at 8 p.m.
Based on Steven Spielberg’s story and directed by Richard Donner, The Goonies is a 1985 adventure comedy film about a group of kids who decide to find a pirate’s hidden treasure to save their homes from foreclosure – a truly American story.
Families are invited to bring snacks, blankets, and lawn chairs but leave their pets at home.
Tamarac Sports Complex is located at 9901 NW 77th Street.
