Auto Theft
W Commercial Blvd
On April 20, a homeless female stole a Chevy Cruze in the owner’s presence and then fled once she was pulled out of the vehicle by the owner.
N University Dr
On April 22, the victim advised he had left his vehicle in front of the Tire Plus mechanic shop at approximately 11:30 p.m. with the vehicle keys hidden on top of the passenger side rear wheel.
Burglary Conveyance
Corkwood Ter
On April 23, An unknown subject(s) entered the victim’s white 2008 Toyota Corolla and stole $500 cash out of the victim’s purse, located on the vehicle’s front passenger seat.
NW 82nd Ct
On April 22, an unknown male attempted to open the driver’s door to a silver Ford Explorer in the driveway, but it was locked. The suspect then crossed the street to NW 82nd Ct and tried the door of a white Jeep, but it was also locked. All was captured on video surveillance.
W Commercial Blvd
On April 22, a female claimed she was approached by a male who grabbed her shirt with no threats. She proceeded to pull out a knife in self-defense. The Male left the scene, and a concerned individual was notified to call 911.
Criminal Mischief
N University Dr
On April 22, when employees arrived that morning, they noticed the glass on the front of the ATM was smashed.
State Road 7
On April 22, the victim got into a verbal argument with the suspect. The suspect felt threatened and threw a rock at the victim’s car. The victim signed a Waiver of Prosecution and was given a BSO case card.
Domestic Disturbance
W Prospect Rd
On April 21, there were allegations of ongoing verbal domestic disturbances between the complainant and suspect.
Fraud
NW 47th St
On April 22, the Tenants notified law enforcement that the locks were changed on their leased home. They stated that they leased and moved into the home on 04/16/2021. They presented their file containing the signed lease agreement and paid money orders proving the residency. The house is placed on the market for sale, according to the house manager. The house manager did not give access to anyone other than contractors doing work to the home. The tenant was informed to leave the location until the investigation is complete.
Information
7700 block of Yardley Dr
On April 22, the victim fell and couldn’t get up. Tamarac Fire Rescue had to make a forced entry which damaged the deadbolt. The victim was transported to University Hospital and Medical Center.
Missing Person
Nw 82nd St
On April 20, a juvenile who went missing was later located and brought home by a family member.
Robbery
W Commercial Blvd
On April 23, an armed robbery occurred by a juvenile. Tot. Est. Loss: $1,000.
Theft
N University Dr
On April 20, a Tamarac resident wished to report the theft of a package from in front of their doorstep. Occurred last week. Tot. Est. Loss: $162.
N Pine Island Road – Walmart
On April 23, the victim accidentally left her purse inside the shopping cart at Walmart. When she returned, the purse was stolen. No video footage.
Threats
NW 27th Way
On April 18, the victim advised the suspect threatened to kill her.
Theft
W Commercial Blvd
On April 24, a witness observed a male come into the store and put over-the-counter medicine in his pocket and leave without paying for it. Total loss $277.88.
Traffic Violations
3700 W Commercial Blvd
On April 22, a traffic stop was initiated for an expired tag. A check through Teletype revealed that the defendant had her operator’s driver’s license suspended. The defendant had four prior guilty convictions for driving while her license was suspended. The suspect was taken into custody and transported to BSO Main Jail.

Fitts, Jzavari Lamar, 20, was arrested on charges of Touch Or Strike/battery/dating Viol at State St, Tamarac, on 04/20/2021.
Dill, Chandler Renee, 28, was arrested on Veh Theft-grand Theft Of Motor Vehicle charges at W Commercial Blvd, Tamarac, on 04/20/2021.
Mingo, Darwin Alphonso, 35, was arrested on charges of Trespassing-fail To Leave Property Upon Order By Owner at 4191 W Commercial Blvd, Tamarac, on 04/21/2021.
Cepeda, Stephanie Groves, 52, was arrested on charges of Drive While Lic Susp 3rd Or Subsq Offense at 3700 W Commercial Blvd, Tamarac, on 04/22/2021.
Landis, Charles Gordon, 35, was arrested on charges of Warrant/Forged Instr at 7515 N Pine Island Rd, Tamarac, on 04/22/2021.
Medina, Sebastian, 18, was arrested on Robbery-no Firearm Or Weapon charges at 6931 North Pine Island Rd, Tamarac, on 04/23/2021.
Holley, Avery Ketron, 33, was arrested on charges of Drive While Lic Susp 3rd Or Subsq Off at 5101 N State Road 7, Tamarac, on 04/24/2021.
Burgos, Marco Antonio, 52, was arrested on charges of Warrant-County 1 Trespass-Count 2 Resisting W/o Violence at 7501 W Commercial Blvd, Tamarac, on 04/24/2021.
Joseph, Christopher, 20, was arrested on Operate Motor Vehicle W/o Drivers License charges at 7500 W Mcnab Rd, Tamarac, on 04/25/2021.
