Don’t miss the Barbra Streisand tribute concert at Kings Point Palace, featuring singer and actress Joy Altman.
With over two decades of live performing experience, Altman starred in Off-Broadway productions across the country and headlined shows for hotels, arenas, casinos, cruise ships, and country clubs.
In Her Name is Barbra, Altman recreates Streisand’s unique voice while paying tribute to her acting and comedic timing.
The tribute show takes the audience on a musical journey through Streisand’s film and stage career, from Funny Girl and Hello Dolly to Yentl and A Star Is Born., including the Broadway hits and concert favorites such as The Way We Were, Somewhere, and Evergreen.
Held on Saturday, September 14, at 8 p.m., the show is $15 for Kings Point residents and $20 for guests. Tickets are available online and at the venue’s box office before and on the night of the concert.
The new box office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday and 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays. On Saturdays, tickets can be purchased at the Clubhouse from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and at the Palace from 7 to 8:15 p.m.
As a reminder, shorts are not permitted in the theater, and all attendees must be 18 years or older for all shows. Kings Point Palace is open to the public.
