Ticket Alert: Two Musical Acts Bring Broadway, Opera, and Jazz to Kings Point

The Kings Point Palace will host two musical performances in one evening, featuring Tones of Enchantment with soprano Gloria Thompson and tenor James Perkowski, and A Night at the Tonys with brother-sister duo Marcel and Marcela Rasa.

Thompson and Perkowski present a diverse program featuring Broadway favorites, opera selections, standards, and classic jazz. Thompson’s career includes radio, television, and live theater, while Perkowski has performed internationally and shared the stage with artists such as Barbara Cook, Patti LaBelle, and Deana Martin.

In A Night at the Tonys, Marcel and Marcela Rasa deliver an upbeat cabaret-style show featuring hits from the 1950s through the 1970s alongside beloved Broadway songs.

Marcel performed in stage productions at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and the Crest Theatre in Delray Beach, and made an appearance on TV, singing for “Deco Drive” in the X-Factor competitions. Marcela pursued an acting career in Los Angeles, appearing in feature films, independent productions, and music videos.

Held on Saturday, October 18, at 8 p.m., the show is $20 for Kings Point residents and $25 for guests, with tickets available online and at the venue’s box office before and on the night of the concert.

The new box office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Wednesday, and 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays. On Saturdays, tickets can be purchased at the Clubhouse from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and at the Palace from 7 to 8:15 p.m.

As a reminder, shorts are not permitted in the theater. All attendees must be 18 years or older for all shows. Kings Point Palace is open to the public.
