Tamarac has set its millage rate and ad valorem taxes for fiscal year 2025-2026.
During a September 24 special meeting, the Commission approved an ordinance on the ad valorem taxes. The millage rate will be 7.0 mills, or $7 per $1,000, based on the taxable value of non-exempt real and personal property located within the Tamarac area.
The millage rate of 7.0000 for the Fiscal Year 2026 General Fund Budget is the same as last year.
The preliminary millage rate of 7.0000 was established as a not-to-exceed millage rate by the City Commission on July 9, 2025. The first public hearing on property taxes was on September 12.
