Relive the Magic of John Denver with the ‘Back Home Again’ Tribute at Kings Point Palace

By Agrippina Fadel

Experience an unforgettable evening of folk music at Kings Point Palace as Tom Becker presents ‘Back Home Again,‘ a heartfelt tribute to John Denver.

Becker, the former member of the folk group The New Christy Minstrels, counts Denver as a mentor. To honor his legacy, he assembled a band and created a show that will inspire long-time Denver fans and those who may be less familiar with his music.

In this tribute, the band performs all the favorites, from “Thank God, I’m a Country Boy” to “Annie’s Song” and “Rocky Mountain High.”

Held on Saturday, March 2, at 8 p.m., the show is $20 for Kings Point residents and $25 for guests, with tickets available online and at the venue’s box office before and on the night of the concert.

The new box office hours are 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday and 8.30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays. On Saturdays, tickets can be purchased at the Clubhouse from 9 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and at the Palace from 7 to 8.15 p.m.

The Palace at Kings Point is located at 7622 NW 76th St. in Tamarac.
