Ticket Alert: Spend Valentine’s Day With the Sounds of Motown at Kings Point

Valentine’s Day gets a soulful soundtrack when Can’t Get Next to You, a Temptations tribute, takes the Kings Point Palace stage, delivering smooth harmonies and the unmistakable sound of Motown.

The performers learned the harmonies and choreography from former members of legendary bands and have shared the stage with many Motown artists, including Dennis Edwards, Richard Street, Ali Woodson, Barrington Henderson, Theo Peoples, and Willy Greene. The production stars Las Vegas vocalists Grady Harrell and William Jordan and includes a selection of classic Motown hits, from “My Girl” to “You Can’t Hurry Love.”

Held on Saturday, February 14, at 8 p.m., the show is $20 for Kings Point residents and $25 for guests, with tickets available online and at the venue’s box office before and on the night of the concert.

The new box office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Wednesday, and 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays. On Saturdays, tickets can be purchased at the Clubhouse from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and at the Palace from 7 to 8:15 p.m.

As a reminder, shorts are not permitted in the theater. All attendees must be 18 years or older for all shows. Kings Point Palace is open to the public.
